IBC Parts & Accessories
2" Butterfly Valves
The butterfly valve is the usual discharge fitting on an IBC tote. Replacement valves are sold with different gaskets and threads, so note what is on your tote before you ask for a quote. Availability depends on the supplier.
2" Ball Valves
A ball valve rotates a hollow sphere out of the flow path. Unlike a butterfly valve, it has no disc sitting in the opening, which helps thicker liquids such as oils and syrups flow more freely.
Ball valves come in polypropylene and stainless steel. As with any wetted part, choose a material that suits your product, and check the SDS and supplier.
Check the thread before you buy, because a replacement has to match the tote outlet, or need an adapter.
Camlock Adapters (Types A-F + DC/DP)
Camlock (cam-and-groove) fittings are a common quick-connect for IBC totes, drums, hoses, and pumps. Two lever arms lock a male adapter into a female coupler without tools. Sizes and materials vary, so include both in your request.

Broad chemical resistance, but it does not compress like rubber. Often used as an envelope around a softer core.
IBC Heating Blankets (120V / 240V)
Insulated electric blankets wrap around the tote to keep a product from freezing or to warm a thick material for easier dispensing. They are especially relevant in Chicago, where an unheated dock or yard spends much of the winter below freezing.
Full-wrap models heat all four sides, while partial-wrap models cover less of the tote. Heating a full tote is slow, so plan ahead rather than expecting a quick warm-up.
Follow the blanket maker's instructions, keep temperatures within the limits for your product and the tote, and check that your circuit can carry the load. Never leave a heater on an empty or low tote unless the maker says it is safe.
IBC Tote Covers
Sunlight is a common cause of HDPE bottle damage on totes kept outdoors. UV breaks down the plastic over time, leaving it chalky and brittle. A cover blocks the light and also keeps algae from growing in water stored in a translucent bottle.
A cover also keeps rain and debris off the lid, so they do not get into the tote when the cap is opened. A valve cutout lets you dispense without taking the cover off.
Spill Containment Pallets (Single / Double / Quad)
Sump pallets capture leaks and spills before they reach the floor or a storm drain. EPA rules, including SPCC where they apply, may require secondary containment at your site. Check current regulations and confirm any pallet's sump volume and load rating with the supplier.

Spill Pallet Features to Look For
Forklift Pockets
Fork channels let you reposition the pallet. Check whether it is meant to be moved with totes on it.
Removable Grating
A grating that lifts out makes the sump easier to clean and inspect.
Drain Option
Some models have a drain for removing rainwater or captured liquid. Others need to be pumped out.
IBC Mixers & Agitators
Top-entry mixers go through the fill opening to blend or agitate what is in the tote. They are used to keep solids in suspension, blend two liquids, or stop an emulsion separating.
Choose the drive, shaft length, and impeller to suit the product and the tote height. Measure the fill opening, because the mixer has to fit through it. If the area has any flammability concern, have the equipment reviewed by whoever handles safety at your site.
Hose Assemblies
Hose assemblies connect the tote valve to your process equipment, tank, or fill point. A typical assembly has a camlock on the tote end, a length of hose, and a nozzle or second fitting on the discharge end.
The hose lining and fittings touch your product, so choose them to suit it. If your product is food or potable water, ask the supplier for documentation and confirm with your own QA and current regulations.

Lid Caps & Fill Covers
The screw cap on top of the tote keeps contaminants out and limits evaporation. Caps come solid for sealed storage, or vented for products that off-gas and to let air in during draining. Replacement gaskets are also sold for most caps.
Gaskets & Seals
Leaks at the valve or lid are often caused by a worn or missing gasket. Gaskets come in EPDM, FKM, PTFE, and silicone for valve connections, lids, and camlock fittings. See the material guide above for general guidance.
Forklift Attachments
Attachments such as fork extensions and tote tilters can help with handling. Any attachment affects a truck's rated capacity, so check with the equipment maker and review OSHA requirements in general terms for powered industrial trucks.
IBC Stands & Dispensing Racks
Steel stands raise a tote off the ground for gravity dispensing into drums or smaller containers. Check the rated capacity of a stand against the full weight of your tote before you use it.
Level Indicators & Sight Gauges
Used to see how much product remains without opening the lid. Options range from simple float gauges to electronic sensors that mount at the top of the tote.
Drain Trays & Drip Pans
Small trays that sit beneath the valve to catch drips during dispensing. Unlike full spill pallets, they are portable, and they are not a substitute for secondary containment where it is required.
Anti-Siphon Valves & Vacuum Breakers
Used on plumbed installations. An anti-siphon valve goes inline to prevent unwanted draining. A vacuum breaker or vented cap admits air as liquid leaves, which helps keep the bottle from pulling in.
Label Holders & Marking Systems
Holders that clip to the cage keep a chemical label or ID card readable. Labels should match the current contents, and new labels should not cover the marking plate.
