From Your Request to a Partner Supplier
From Quote Request to Decision
The process is the same for most requests. You tell us what you need, we pass it on, and a partner supplier takes it from there.

Details Make the Difference
A tote's valve, bottle, cage, and label all say something about where it can go next. The plate on a tote usually shows its markings and test dates, including the 2.5- and 5-year test dates where they apply.
If you have those details, add them to your request. They help partner suppliers give you a useful answer.
Submit a Request
Fill out the quote form with what you need and where you are. It is the only way to reach us, and it works the same whether you want to buy, sell, recycle, clean, or move IBC totes. The request is free and carries no obligation.
Your Request Reaches Partner Suppliers
We pass your details to partner suppliers so they can see what you asked for. We do not hold totes or quote prices ourselves. The privacy policy explains how your details are handled along the way.
Partner Suppliers Review It
Suppliers look at the size, quantity, grade, prior contents, and location in your request. Availability depends on the supplier, and a supplier may decline a request it cannot take on.
A Partner Supplier Follows Up
A partner supplier follows up using the contact details you gave. They may ask for photos, more detail on prior contents, or site information such as dock or forklift access.
You Decide
Compare the quote with what you need. If it works, you arrange the sale, pickup, delivery, or service directly with the supplier. If it does not, you can walk away.
What to Include in a Request
The more specific your request, the less back and forth there is. These details matter most to partner suppliers.
Size and Quantity
Say whether you need 275 gallon totes, 330 gallon totes, or a mix, and how many. If you are selling, an honest count is more useful than a round number.
Grade or Condition
Buyers can pick a grade or choose any grade. Sellers can describe the bottle, cage, valve, and pallet, including any leaks, cracks, or bent tubes.
Prior or Planned Contents
Say what the totes held, or what you plan to put in them. Have the SDS handy if there is one. Contents can decide whether a tote can be reused at all.
Location
Your ZIP code is required because distance affects what is possible. Availability depends on partner suppliers in Chicago and the Chicagoland area.
Timeframe
Choose when you need this on the form, or say you only want pricing for now. It helps suppliers prioritize, but timing is confirmed with the supplier.
Site Access
Use the message box to mention a loading dock, a forklift, or tight access. A full or empty tote still needs a safe way on and off a truck.
How Grades Differ
These are general descriptions, not a single industry standard. Suppliers can define grades differently, so ask what a grade means for the totes you are quoted.
What Happens After You Submit
What comes next depends on what you asked for. Timing depends on the partner supplier, so confirm it with them directly.
If You Are Buying
Quote from a supplierA partner supplier follows up about the totes it can offer. Ask how it defines the grade, what the totes held, how they were cleaned, and how delivery or pickup works.
If You Are Selling
Supplier reviewA partner supplier reviews what you described and may ask for photos. If it wants the totes, it will explain its offer and how they would be collected.
If You Are Recycling
Supplier reviewA partner supplier can tell you what it is able to take. Totes that held regulated materials may have extra requirements, so check current regulations and say exactly what they held.
If You Need Cleaning or Transport
Depends on the supplierAvailability depends on the supplier, the prior contents, and your location. A partner supplier can explain what it can do for your totes.
If You Do Not Hear Back
Send a new requestNot every request finds a match. If your needs change or you have more detail to share, send a new request through the form with the updated information.
What the Service Does Not Do
We take requests and pass them to partner suppliers. Everything past that point sits with the supplier and with you. The terms and privacy policy have the details.
Does Not Sell or Buy Totes
IBC Recycling Chicago does not own totes. Any sale or purchase is between you and the partner supplier.
Does Not Inspect, Clean, or Move Totes
We have no yard, wash bay, or trucks. Any handling is done by partner suppliers, so ask them how the work is done.
Does Not Set Prices or Terms
Suppliers set their own prices, delivery arrangements, warranties, and returns. Review those before you agree to anything.
Does Not Confirm Fit or Advise on Regulations
Check the SDS, the tote markings, and the supplier. OSHA, DOT, and EPA rules can apply, so check current regulations. If your product is food or potable water, ask the supplier for documentation and confirm with your own QA and current regulations.
Does Not Promise a Match
Availability depends on partner suppliers, and a supplier may decline a request. Submitting one does not create a contract.
Ready to Send a Request?
